Common Questions Before You Reach Out

Clear answers to help you feel confident before taking the next step

That’s completely fine. Use Help Me Choose or contact us directly. We will learn a little more about what is going on and help guide you toward the care option that is most appropriate for you.

We will review the information you provide and contact you to better understand what is going on. From there, we will help guide you toward the most appropriate option—whether that is General PT, a Complex PT Evaluation, a brief conversation first, or another care pathway.

Many patients can contact us directly to get started. Whether a referral is needed may depend on your insurance or Medicare requirements and your specific situation. If one is required, we will let you know and help guide you through the next step.

Yes. PLYO is in-network with Medicare for eligible physical therapy services. For commercial insurance plans, we are out-of-network. Because coverage varies by plan, before you begin care we will explain what your responsibility and payment options are clearly so you know what to expect.

If PT does not appear to be appropriate for you, we will tell you honestly and help guide you toward the appropriate next provider or medical pathway. The goal is to help you get to the right place—not keep you in PT unnecessarily.

No. We do not decide in advance how many visits you need. Your plan is based on your goals, what we find during your evaluation, and how you respond to treatment. If you improve quickly, your plan may be short. If you need more time, we will adjust the plan along the way. The goal is to give you the care that is appropriate for you—not keep you in PT longer than necessary.
